Reba McEntire made history last week as she hosted the American Country Music Awards for a record-breaking 17th time, and it’s fair to say she stole her own slice of the attention.
The iconic singer was on hand to emcee the ceremony in Fresco, Texas, having performed the same duty on numerous occasions in the past, including in 2019 and as recently as last year.
“Absolutely stunning as usual Reba,” one person wrote. Another said: “You are amazing at what you do. But it’s also important to mention how amazing you look.“ “She is one gorgeous woman,” opined a third.

And it wasn’t just her look people were left impressed by, but also her natural flair for hosting. As stated, this year’s event marked the 17th! time McEntire has hosted proceedings, while her affiliation with the ACM Awards goes back over 40 years to when she received her first gong.
It was a fact not left out by Reba, who jokingly remarked that Jelly Roll used to be the name of an after-school snack (referring to award-nominated country music artist Jelly Roll), and added that a stagecoach was how she used to get to school, as opposed to being a popular country music festival.
Fans watching the event wasted little time in expressing their opinions regarding Reba’s efforts.
“Having Reba host this year’s show is like having your favorite aunt come over for dinner,” one fan on X wrote. “She’s so sweet & you love to hear from her.”
Another added at the star “is just an absolutely incredible entertainer, country music is lucky to have her.”
“It’s always a good time and a party,” a fourth added.
A fifth labeled McEntire “the ultimate host”.
