Candace Cameron is reflecting on 28 years of marriage with her husband, Valeri Bure.
The Full House alum, now 48, marked the occasion with a heartfelt Instagram post on Saturday, June 22, celebrating their wedding anniversary.
The post featured a series of nostalgic photos from the couple’s early days, including shots from their 1996 wedding.
In the pictures, Candace wore a stunning white lace ballgown with a long sheer veil, while Valeri, now 50, donned a classic black tuxedo. One image even captured the couple in the 1990s at an ice rink, where Valeri, a two-time Olympic medalist and former NHL player, was presumably practicing.
“28 years 🥂 today! How it started… and how it’s going❤️💒,” Candace wrote in the caption, illustrating their journey from a young couple in the 1990s to their life together now.
Recent photos in the Instagram carousel featured their three children: daughter Natasha, 25, and sons Lev, 24, and Maksim, 22. One picture showed the entire family, including Lev’s wife, Elliott Dunham, smiling for the camera. Another image captured Candace and Valeri sharing a kiss while wearing sunglasses and baseball hats on a boat.
Natasha added a heartfelt comment under her mother’s post, celebrating her parents’ anniversary: “Best parents ever ❤️.”
Candace’s “Full House” co-star Dave Coulier, who played a pivotal role in her meeting Valeri by inviting her to a charity hockey game in Los Angeles nearly three decades ago, also commented: “I’m so happy that I invited you to that hockey game almost three decades ago. Congratulations. Love you both so much!”
In January, Candace expressed her joy over attending her son Lev’s ” amazing” wedding with Valeri and their family, telling people. “Oh goodness, the whole thing was amazing. I’m a mother of the groom, so it was like a highlight of my entire life. It was fantastic, but I would just say the actual ceremony was so beautiful.”
She added: “They’re so in love,” referring to her son Lev and her new daughter-in-law, Elliott.
