The ongoing verbal conflict between the Trump administration and the far-left “Squad” members in Congress is not a recent development. However, critics of Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) assert that she has descended to a new, “evil” low following her recent remarks that mocked First Lady Melania Trump.
Instead of directing her criticism towards President Donald Trump, Crockett utilized a portion of a contentious House hearing to deride Melania’s modeling career, even implying that it was improbable for her to have obtained the prestigious “Einstein visa.”
Crockett’s remarks were made during Wednesday’s House Judiciary Committee hearing, where she oscillated between condemning President Trump’s immigration policies and launching personal attacks against his wife.
“In the context of discussing integrity, I find it perplexing that my Republican colleagues are not addressing the integrity issues surrounding the visas of the president’s family,” she remarked.
“Melania, the first lady — a model, and when I refer to model, I do not mean at the level of Tyra Banks, Cindy Crawford, or Naomi Campbell — applied for and received an EB-1 visa,” she stated derisively.
Originally from Slovenia, Melania relocated to the United States in the 1990s to advance her modeling career, successfully obtaining an EB-1 visa — commonly referred to as the “Einstein visa” — before ultimately becoming a U.S. citizen in 2006 and marrying Trump.
Crockett escalated her comments, harshly detailing the qualifications for the “Einstein visa” and questioning Melania’s capability to meet the intelligence requirements necessary to qualify for one.
Crockett escalated her comments, harshly detailing the qualifications for the “Einstein visa” and questioning Melania’s capability to meet the intelligence requirements necessary to qualify for one.
“To qualify, one must demonstrate significant achievements, such as being awarded a Nobel Peace Prize or a Pulitzer, being an Olympic medalist, or possessing other sustained extraordinary abilities and accomplishments in fields such as sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics,” she explained.
“As far as I am aware, the first lady does not possess any of those accolades.
The rapid online backlash against Crockett was reported by the NY Post, as social media users turned the tables and accused Crockett of harboring jealousy.
“Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) shamefully criticized Melania Trump on Wednesday regarding her modeling career and visa status. Crockett claimed that Melania did not measure up to other models and lacked the credentials necessary for an Einstein visa. Crockett is envious,” one user expressed on X.
“Can Jasmine Crockett speak five languages like Melania? NO! Therefore, she should simply refrain from speaking,” another user fumed.
A third individual remarked: “How dare she compare Melania to those models? Melania possesses far more class in her little finger than Jasmine Crockett has in her entire body!”
“The First Lady embodies more class than this trash ever will,” a fourth user angrily stated.
The comments made by the Texas congresswoman come just days after President Trump criticized her and her fellow “Squad” member Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) for their efforts to rally Congress for a historic third impeachment attempt against him.
“After years of being sidelined, including enduring one of the Greatest Losses in History, the 2024 Presidential Election, the Democrats should nominate the Low IQ Candidate, Jasmine Crockett, for President, while AOC+3 should serve as Vice President and three high-ranking members of the Cabinet,” Trump wrote following the victory of far-left socialist candidate Zohran Mamdani in the Democratic primary for mayor of New York.
