While the holidays can be wonderful, this time of year also brings an added level of stress. After returning home, one woman found a stranger parked in her private spot. With no other options, she parked on the street and was ticketed. When she saw the strangers car still in her spot the next day she decided to leave a note that read,
Hey Stranger, Because you were parked in my spot last night (and still are??), I got a ticket for street parking overnight w/o a permit. I’m broke. These are privately owned spots, and I could have you ticketed and towed. I won’t, but please don’t park in my spot again.

Later that day she received an apologetic letter from the stranger along with five $20 bills. The admonished stranger replied,
First I would like to apologize for parking in your spot. It was irresponsible on my part and I would like to give this to you to pay for the ticket and whatever else you need. It can be tough around this time of year. Merry Christmas – the asshole who parked in your spot.

Remember that Christmas isn’t just about gifts, it’s also about forgiveness and understanding. Try to remember this story if things get tough during the holidays.
