Kevin Costner Turns Down $30 Million Movie Deal: “I Won’t Work With Rob Reiner”

About five minutes after Kevin Costner announced his departure from “Yellowstone,” his phone started ringing. “It was pretty overwhelming,” the star told our reporter, “I knew there would be offers, but I had no idea they’d come so quickly.”

The most lucrative offer, to play a leading role in a Rob Reiner film, was the only one he turned down on the spot. “I won’t work with Reiner,” said Costner, “All that Harvey Weinstein and Epstein Island stuff leaves a bad taste in my mouth.”

Reporter Tara Newhole said the line sounded better when she asked him to repeat it as the head of the Dutton family. “If he would have added ‘you son of a bitch’ to the end it would have been a real fangirl moment for me.”

It’s good to know that Costner still has his morals and values intact after having to date that awful Piper Paribo. She was cute in Coyote Ugly, but as an aging activist with an attitude problem, she fell a bit short.

“I loved her,” said Newhole, “and I think you’re a little bit petty for siding with Beth, considering your own politics, mister.”

Irregardless, which is now officially a word because of wokeness, Costner says he’s probably gonna ask her out for real now that his child support went to just over $63K per month. “She seems like a cheap date,” he told a pal.

Paribo wasn’t available for comment.
